Beaches
Nearby Novalje are numerous beaches to suite everyone's taste. Useful information for all guests is that Novalja has a modern system for waste and fecal water, the sea is completely clean and unpolluted and this enables swimming in the Novalja bay.
On the western coast of Cape Vrtić to camp STRASKO, the coastal belt is strewn with sand for guests who like to walk along the sea and a calmer, unpopulated area for swimming. The extension has camp STRASKO with a beach in a dense oak forest which is used for a fee for entrance to the camp area. In the area there is a sport center with tennis courts, table tennis, mini-golf, restaurants and toilets.
On the western side of the city is an area called BABE; an area of shallow, clean and warm sea, an area which is accessible to pedestrians and smaller boats.
The Pag bay which is located in the center of the island, which is 20 kilometers long, south-east of Novalja, 2000 meters away, on its western side has numerous sand beaches.
Zrće
The most famous beach is ZRCE, with an amphitheatre shape, over 1000 meters long with an addition in the KATARELC, area where there are sport contents on the sea, sky lift, jet ski, rent a boat and more. The area of ZRCE is the center of summer club music in Croatia. The famous clubs such as Aquarius, Papaya and Kalypsohave guests of the most famous DJ names in club electronic music such as PAUL VAN DYK, TIESTO, DAVID MORALES, CHEMICAL BROTHERS.
From Lun, on the north-western part of the island are picturesque bays with smaller beaches ideal for boat owners.
Caska
The Caska beach is located in the very bottom of the bay, it is a sand beach with a quality restaurant suitable for the entire family. The area of Caska is also famous as an archeological site dating back from the antic period where it was the most developed urban center.
The southern side of the city in the hinterland of the city METAJNA is the spacious beach beach RUCICA, with the popular name KANJON for guests who like the special atmosphere of the Pag stone, azure sea and sun. The surrounding cliffs which surround the beach, besides making the special canyon atmosphere, is a challenge for lovers of extreme sports.
Planjka or Trinćel
In the north-western part, in the hinterland of Novalja, less than a kilometer away is the sandy beach PLANJKA, which is the favorite beach for parents with small children. The beach is the winner of the blue flag, a sign of quality and facilities for games with children, fast food restaurants, sundecks, pedal boats, and so on.
South of Novalja, in the direction of Pag is a great number of pebble beaches offering specific atmosphere of this island where the more famous are Sv. Duh, Prnjica, Cista, and many others.

The southern side of the city in the hinterland of the city METAJNA is the spacious beach beach RUCICA, with the popular name KANJON for guests who like the special atmosphere of the Pag stone, azure sea and sun.
The surrounding cliffs which surround the beach, besides making the special canyon atmosphere, is a challenge for lovers of extreme sports.
